While having a conversation with a Non-white female I stated that I believed that I was a person that is a Victim Of Racism and that I was actively trying to counter this status. I observed that, while she stated that she was a Victim Of Racism also, (she stated) she believed that she was more that just a Victim Of Racism, was not always a Victim Of Racism, and through "knowledge of self" was not actually a Victim Of Racism.

After asking more questions concerning the responses she gave, I suspect that many Non-white people use terms and words without asking questions about the meaning of the terms/words used. Always attempt to totally understand what it is you are saying before you say it (this means every word), otherwise don't say it -OR- state that you Do Not totally understand what you are saying. Use the best words possible, and get to the point of what it is you are trying to say.

This is EXTREMELY important for those interested in Countering Racism (White Supremacy)/Problem Solving. Every Term/Word should be examined. Why? To examine what those words DO. Do they help to solve problems, or Reveal Truth in such a way that Justice is promoted? If the answer is yes, then use the term/word. If the answer is no, then do not use that word/term.

This has probably been stated many time on this site, but in my opinion it can not be reiterated enough, given the evidence of the amount of confusion between Non-white people.

Excellent suggestion.

I personally say "victim of racism white supremacy". When you do not use the term racism and the term white supremacy together non-white people will become confused because non-white people have been taught that they are a race...hence can be racists.

Using the word racism and the words white supremacy together...side-by-side...everyone instinctively knows what that means...even white people. You can test this by...when you use those words together (racism white supremacy) in a conversation with white people see if the white person:

(a) Tries to see how much you know about how racism (white supremacy) works

OR...

(b) Begins to convince you they are not a racist (white supremacist).

I suspect it is going to be the latter (b). Check out what words the white person uses and what the result of those words are in the conversation on non-white people. Having the benefit of counter-racist language you should be able to determine what the effect would be if you didn't have the benefit of counter-racist language.

This is easier to do when you understand there is no requirement to respond to STATEMENTS.
