How do you introduce the concept of being born and existing in a prison of RACISM WHITE SUPREMACY to the young ones, without deluding them into confusion and despair? |

That is a really good question.
In my work I have learned it takes some time to observe situations and ask the young ones why do they think things happened the way they did. After a few of these the young ones will begin to SEE the patterns and can just about predict outcomes. Then walking them through solutions while they observe the outcomes they will begin to ask you questions what's really going on.
After that it's easy to get them to understand, even from a conceptual perspective, why these things happen and HOW to prevent them from happening.
It's very important to quickly talk about ways to counter the confusion and despair with strong constructive codified speech and action. Otherwise the confusion and despair will set in.
And there are other ways as well. There are ways to involve the young ones in activity that without their conscious knowledge gives you the desired result. _________________ What is the reason YOU were born into a SYSTEM of INJUSTICE if not to replace it with a SYSTEM of JUSTICE? |
