I watched a certain video clip in which a certain white lady, Marjorie Taylor Greene, claimed to have been called a WHITE SUPREMACIST by a certain non-white person, Jamal Bowman.

Now, what caught my attention was that in the process of making her claim, she made a statement saying that for her being called a WHITE SUPREMACIST is too offensive, and is, to her, equal to a person of color being called the N-word.

Later on, the host of the television program, on which the video clip was aired, tried to make a clarification by stating, "First of all, the N word is offensive and refers to skin color, basically. But, WHITE SUPREMACY is a philosophy; an idea. The things are not equal..."

QUESTION:
Was the host correct with her initial statement or was the lady, Marjorie Taylor Greene, correct with her statement that, her being called a WHITE SUPREMACIST is equal to a person of color being called a NIGGA!?

First off all, keep the word "racist" and the term "white supremacist" tied together. White people are not going to do that because they don't want you to connect them together. A "racist white supremacist" is a person. In fact it is a white person.

Got it?

So, it could be that she was thinking about a person when she was called a "white supremacist". But the host did not say "white supremacist (a person) is an idea". The host said "white supremacy is an idea".

So...to answer your question, they could have both been revealing truth.

What the host said..."white supremacy is an idea" is true. But the real question is...who is practicing it? An idea ain't practicing it.

But what MTG said...basically...for a white person to be called a white supremacist...SEE that is a person. A white supremacist, or as defined by Counter-Racism Code, is a person. Whomever called her a "white supremacist" was making it personal by implying SHE is a "white supremacist", which is not even allowed in Counter-Racism Code. There is no name-calling in Counter-Racism Code.
