Overstand: Pronunciation Key

To know truth (that which is) and use it to promote justice and correctness in all places and all times. To not be confused or deceived.

Example 1: I overstand the importance of correct thought, speech and/or action. Your really saying that you are not confused about correct thought, speech and/or action.

Example 2: I understand the importance of correct thought, speech and/or action. Your really saying that you are confused or unclear about correct thought, speech, and/or action.

Compare understand with the words under*achieve, under*developed, under*funded, under*nourished.

Trina, this is logical to me. I will circulate this meaning by using it when appropriate.

Trina,

What do the words "over" and "under" respectively mean?

Goodyman, I'm glad you asked that question. Over and Under have many different meanings in the dictionary.

1. Over- (a) Upper, higher. (b) Having or showing an excess or surplus of something

2. Under- (a) In or into a position below or beneath something. (b)Below or short of some quantity, level or limit.
