Observed Phenomenon:
Non-white people do not like being called nigger by white people.
Hypothesis:
Non-white people do not know the definition of the word nigger used by a white person to describe a non-white person.
Experiment:
Ask the following questions:
(1) What is the definition of the word nigger? Always make sure you get a definition that describes what a nigger does. Also ask the following question if you are given a definition that does not reveal what a nigger does:(2) What does a nigger do that nobody else does? Recording Data:
Use whatever recording device you can such as pencil and paper, audio recorder, video recorder, memory, etc., to make sure the interactions between people are recorded.
Expected Results:
(1) The white person will not be able to give a definition for the word nigger that describes what a nigger does.
(2) The white person will not be able to give a definition for the word nigger that describes what a nigger does that nobody else does.
