Thinking: Pronunciation Key

The process of giving verbal form to something that is already known.

Hmmmm

I don't know about this one,

Usually when I am in the process of thinking, I am performing a "Thought Experiment". Not sure if this definition describes that process.

interesting.....

As I was *thinking* about this definition, the name Helen Keller came to me,

Is it correct to say that in her early years, she was thinking, but it was in a language only she could understand?

In addition,

Is this true for a baby?

I would say the process of giving verbal form to something that is already known is speaking, rather than thinking.

Now, I could be incorrect, but it seems that the process of "thought" goes beyond words. Instead, it would seem that thought is more of the process in which people attempt to make what is "unknown" "known" via the use of language (words and their definitions).

What you are saying could be correct. Try remembering something you forgot and see if you have to clothe it "verbally" in your mind before you can speak it.
