Edward Williams: Is that person (pointing to another person) a white person?
White Person: Yeah.
Edward Williams: Do you know a white person when you see one?

Scientific Conclusion:The solidification of suspicion of whether a white person practices racism (white supremacy), by a non-white person while existing under and/or during the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy), happens within an individual non-white person and is not transferrable from one non-white person to another.

Each individual non-white person has their own criteria for what behavior that a white person exhibits causes that non-white person to suspect that said white person could be a racist (white supremacist). The evidence that leads one non-white person to conclude that a white person may be practicing racism (white supremacy) may not be sufficient evidence for another non-white person to conclude that said white person could be practicing racism (white supremacy) For non-white people to argue with each other over whether or not a white person may be practicing racism (white supremacy) only helps the maintenance and the refinement of the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy).

As an individual non-white person interacts with a white person that they may not think is a racist (white supremacist) and that non-white person begins to notice that said white person may be participating in behavior that results in non-white people being harmed, that non-white person may begin to become more and more suspicious that the white person could be practicing racism (white supremacy). Once that non-white person has concluded that said white person is practicing behavior that results in non-white people harmed and that behavior is part of the criteria that the non-white person has for a racist suspect, that non-white person has solidified their suspicion of said white person.

It is unjust and incorrect for non-white people to argue with each other about what the correct criteria is for a white person to be considered a racist suspect. Each non-white person has the duty to define for themselves what that criteria should be and owes it to themselves to do so because each individual non-white person is a victim of racism (white supremacy). While one non-white person may be in the process of examining the behavior of a particular white person to see if the white person's behavior fits their criteria of what a racist suspect does, another non-white person may have already concluded that said white person is a racist suspect. This is for each individual non-white person to decide based on whatever criteria each individual non-white person comes up with at any time and in any place.

Hi Mr. Williams,

Does your scientific conclusion suggest that mistreatment from a White person of a non-White person is in the "eye of the beholder", the beholder being a non-White person, so to speak, and therefore, someone who we think is a VOR because they appear to us be a non-white person can POTENTIALLY never believe that he or she has been or is being mistreated by any White person?

Ms. V

Hello Ms. V,

Welcome. Yes, that is the scientific conclusion. There are some non-white people who, although will say they are not white, do not want to discuss being mistreated on the basis of color and some non-white people will claim that they are not being mistreated on the basis of color. There are even some non-white people who will say that they are no color at all and that they are human beings, whatever that means.

While according to counter-racist logic all non-white people are subject to the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy), it is up to each individual non-white person to see themselves as a non-white person that is subject to racism (white supremacy). And as such decide what they are going to do about being in that situation. Non-white people attempting to convince each other that there is a SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy) and that all non-white people are subject to it will cause conflict between non-white people, which only helps the white people who practice racism (white supremacy) to run the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy).

The Counter-Racism Definition outlines how to think about and use the term Solidifying Suspicion in reference to this phenomenon. The Counter-Racism Suggestion points to exactly what to do in order to accomplish three things that help non-white people to work against the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy) and those three things are as follows:

(1) Minimize conflict between non-white people by not trying to convince each other that all non-white people are victims of racism (white supremacy).
(2) Allow any non-white person who has concluded that the SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy) exists and have also concluded that there are white people who are maintaining, expanding and/or refining the SYSTEM by keeping non-white people subject to them to understand that the sole responsibility for another non-white person gaining the same understanding lies with that other non-white person. In other words, it is the duty of each non-white person to come to this conclusion at a time or place of their own choosing and not be forced into it.
(3) Allows any non-white person to also understand that because each individual non-white person has the sole responsibility to come to the conclusion that there is a SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy) in place and decide what they are going to do about it, each individual non-white person builds there own criteria for which white person is a racist suspect and can alter that criteria and/or decide to use or not use that criteria at any time or place of their own choosing because it is solely theirs as an individual non-white person.

The act of Solidifying Suspicion takes place within each individual non-white person and cannot, according to counter-racism law, be forced upon a non-white person by another non-white person.

I once read a suggestion that said that we, non-White persons, should teach our offspring about racism white supremacy before White people teach our offspring about racism white supremacy.

How would you go about teaching offspring about racism white supremacy without inherently convincing them that there is a system of racism white supremacy? According to your experiment, is the above suggestion now considered incorrect?

No, the suggestion doesn't say you shouldn't help other non-white people to understand that there is a SYSTEM of racism (white supremacy), how it works against non-white people, and what non-white people can do to work against it. The suggestion states you should not force the information on other non-white people.

Help is a process. If you call yourself saying and/or doing something to help someone who has stated they don't need any help that person may actually think that you are harming them instead of helping them. The individual person has to ask for and/or be receptive to the information in order for it to be considered help.

The suggestion you brought up could be true or it could be false. Test it to see if it works for you.

Edward Williams: Are you a white person?
Person: Do I look white to you?
Edward Williams: Is that person (pointing to another person) a white person?
Person: Yep, they look white to me.
Edward Williams: What is the purpose for a white person to classify someone as white or non-white under the SYSTEM of white supremacy (racism)?
Person: (just stares at me).

I have observed that some people have voluntarily told me they were a "White" person in conversations that weren't about "Race". They also appeared surprised when I told them that I did not know that.

From your observations with conducting these experiments would a person stating that they are a "white" person (when they were not asked the critical question) count for purposes of conducting the solidifying suspicion experiment?

SynQ,

It could depending on exactly what the person says and on your objective. I've had people to say that in my presence as well. For example, I had a guy say, in the course of a sports conversation, "they can't fool this white boy". I immediately asked him if he was a white person and he just looked at me and didn't say anything. I asked him if he understood the question and he just stared at me without saying anything.

Just with this guy saying "they can't fool this white boy" many non-white people would not even think to ask the person if they are a white person. Many non-white people would just assume that the person is a white person based on their statement and function from that assumption. But when the guy was asked a direct question about whether or not he is a white person there's no audible response from him.
